In order to meet energy efficiency and conservation directives, Barber Klein was contracted to perform various HVAC upgrades with new Trane equipment in eleven buildings, concurrently. The project included six crane lifts in order to remove and replace roof top air handler units, and to set new chiller units. The project involved managing multiple subcontractors including mechanical, electrical, controls installation, ventilation testing, and programming/commissioning. Numerous electrical and HVAC outages were carefully planned and executed at highly sensitive buildings on-board NAS JAX.
