About This Project

The HVAC system, more specifically the duct work for Bldg. 583 was not adequately insulated for the environment in which it is installed. Metal diffusers within the kennel area allowed for rapid condensation build up as the cool metal came in contact with the hot humid air from the kennel run area. Improvements included: cleaning of all air handling units; variable air volume boxes; and supply and return duct work was performed; removal, disposal and replacement of existing gyp board ceiling throughout Administrative area; increased insulation and duct wrap; replacement of metal diffusers with composite material diffusers; and test and balance.
